Yeah. Still looking for a tablet. Havent found anything good under $100.
:iconsaltypandadog:
aiptek 12000u
100 new
and i think they have it 60 for refurbished and no warranty, or 80 with 1 year warranty. i have one, its a HUGE tablet, like 12inch drawing surface. plastic overlay so you can put sketches underneath etc etc

its no wacom, but it does what needs to be done for cheap.

Cool thanks, i'll look into it. Where do you get refurbished tablets at?
:iconsaltypandadog:
on there website.
aiptek.com > pc tablets > hyperpen12000u

oh man, they must be tryin to get rid of these things: apparently, now brand new is only 89.99, 10 bucks cheaper than what i got PLUS a free extra stylus. nice. 80 for refubed + warranty, 70 without.

if your running vista, the driver is in the downloads section of they're website. it actually runs quite smoothly with the built in tablet pc software vista has built in.

I never bought refurbished stuff before. Would it be just as good as a new one? is it still packed like it was factory sealed? I'm thinking about getting this.
:iconsaltypandadog:
ever have to replace a cell phone or something and the factory gives you a "new" one. its not, it's refurbbed and no one really notices either. basically when companies refurbish stuff, they just replace parts with noticeable scratches, dents etc. and then they put the actual working stuff under the same strict tests as a new product before shipping it off. basically: its good as new, just not new.
