how do you do these animations? I mean the frames.. do you draw them like this, or do you draw them and downsample, or apply some filter? I want to recreate the Gameboy Camera effect in some photos, and this looks very similar, although it's obviously a drawing, but the dithering effect is somewhat similar.. =)

I used a program called easytoons. Its a simple black & white animation program. It was all drawn in there. I didnt draw anything on paper.
